It shows ( 2WD / 4X4 HIGH / 4X4 LOW ) The 4X4 positions are not to be used on DRY pavement As long as the rear wheels are not spinning you can select 4X4 HIGH for use in snow , sand , gravel , etcetera If you want to select 4X4 LOW , with your foot on the brake pedal , engine running , shift to neutral , select 4X4 LOW ( wait until you hear a click ) then put it in gear
