Profile LinksEvery time you ask a question, answer a question, or make any other edit or contribution on WikiAnswers - assuming you've signed in and have a user name, of course - your user name will appear on the question page. It also appears on the question's history page and people's Watchlists. Every time your user name appears, it's linked to your profile.
Other ways to get to someone's profile:
  • If someone leaves you a message on your message board, you will see their user name. If you click on their user name, this will take you to their profile.

  • Go to your own profile. Remove your own user name in the Address Bar and type the name of the user you are looking for. Hit "Enter"; this takes you to the other person's profile.

  • Click "search" on the top right-hand side of any page (This is shown as a magnifying glass). Click "member" above the search. Enter your search. Click on the "Search Members" button. You will be taken to the search results.

Is the WikiAnswers website neutral point of view?

On WikiAnswers, we try to provide all the views by every contributor, so every point of view is represented, which basically makes for a neutral point of view. However, these 'point of views' are only on opinionated questions, or questions where there is no exact fact. There is only one case in which WikiAnswers doesn't provide a neutral point of view, and that is when only one contributor put his/her answer on an opinionated question or question that cannot be answered with solid known facts. This is the only case because there is only one view being represented by the answer, since only one contributor answered the question. Overall, WikiAnswers tries to have a 100% neutral point of view on all answers.

What should you do if a WikiAnswers contributor has done advertisement in a question instead of answering it?

Self-promotion is allowed on a contributor's Profile page but never in an answer. Most likely the contributor is a robot. Most robots will be blocked from the site by a Supervisor. If you are a contributor, you should report your finding to a Supervisor, who will deal with it accordingly. However, if it is a normal contributor, the user will be warned by a Supervisor to stop advertising in answers. If the user does not heed the warning, their account will be suspended. WikiAnswers is a Q&A site, and it not to be used for advertising.
