You put them on...like any type of clothing. If your going to wear a skirt or dress...then, first you put the leggings then the dress/skirt. What you wear with them can make them casual, flirty, elegantly sexy, or trashy. To stay within reason, generally wear a top which goes down to your thigh. Some people like flat shoes for comfort, but a little heel makes your leg longer and more elegant. I personally like tops with a waist, either their own or a belt, which breaks up the torso and gives you some shape. Ankle length is the only way to go since that makes your legs look longer (capris might work for skinny legs). It's not discussed much, but bike shorts with similar tops give a similar, more casual look for warmer weather.

∙ 12y agoWear them with a dress. Or you can wear them with an oversized sweater or a tunic. You can layer them underneath a skirt or pair of shorts. Some people even layer leggings underneath ripped jeans. Just make sure what ever you wear them with, that your butt is covered. Remember, leggings are not pants.
