You will need wire that matches the greens that your are using in your wreath. you can find this at any craft store. then obviously your flowers, many leafy. i wouldn't make the entire thing from roses with no green, and they sell these "wreath skeletons" that are wire frames for you to attach and tie your flowers to. once you have that, just arange around the skeleton and tie the flowers and leaves with the wire. peice of cake!

If you want to make a Christmas wreath you can find pine needles if you have a pine tree in youre yard. You can find pine cones too.You can use something round to glue the pine needles and pine cones on.When you glue them on use a hot glue gun.It will make it dry faster and it will hold on better. When you use the hot glue gun be care ful you don't burn yourself when you push the items down.If you want to make a Easter wreath you can find sticks or leaves. You can put on plastic Easter eggs too.Get something round and glue on the sticks or the leaves. You will have to hot glue the eggs on because regular glue won't let it stick.Whatever wreath you want to make you have to use youre imagination.

Initially you need a wreath ring 10" or 12" usually, binding wire and moss or straw for the base. Place straw or moss on ring and bind with the wire until you have a complete circle made. Now you are able to add the greenery and decorations.

For this you need holly, leylandii greenery or any other evergreen leaves. You wind stub wire around clumps of the greenery and then push the wire through the straw/moss bending it on the underside to hold in place. If the holly has red berries so much the better although you can buy plastic berries if it doesn't.

For the decoration you can use plastic flowers and other ornaments like bells etc., to brighten it up. Ribbons can be used as well, again using stub wire to hold it in place.

The wreath should hang in 2/3 's of the upper half of your door centered. (12" - 18" down from the top of the door.)

A wooded door you can use a nail.

There are hangers that you can buy that have hooks on both ends. The bigger hook goes over the top of door, just slip it in. The smaller one on the other end is where you hang the wreath.

If you have a ribbon or fabric that can hold the weight of your wreath, you can do away with the hanger and just use that ribbon.

If you have a steel door, try using a magnet hook.

If you have glass door, there are hooks that have adhesives on the back which you can stick to the surface of the door

Celebrating Easter is especially fun for kids. Here is a simple craft project that kids of all ages can enjoy. These Easter Bunny egg wreaths are made by using several recycled objects from around your home, making it not only fun, but a green project as well. Before starting your project, read the following easy steps to insure that you have all you need to make this project successful.

Step 1: Gather the materials that you will need such as:

• at least three 12 oz aluminum soda or juice cans

• foam food trays, such as what meat comes on

• grapevine wreath at least 20” in diameter

• small silk flowers of your choosing, although spring flowers go best with the season

• two yards of 2 ½ “ wide wired ribbon

• six inches of floral wire

• scissors

• white spray paint

• white, pink and blue acrylic paint and other colors of your choosing for eggs

• pink pom-poms for each bunny nose approximately ½ inch

• white pom-poms for each bunny tail approximately 1 inch

• brushes for painting the foam

• cotton swabs

• glue gun and glue sticks or glue for foam

• other assorted decorations for eggs

• twelve inches of 1 inch wide satin ribbon

• googly eyes (optional)

• black permanent marker

• craft foam or felt

Step 2: If desired, spray the grapevine wreath white. You can leave it natural if you so choose.

Step 3: For each bunny that you desire to put on the wreath, squish an aluminum can flat and remove the tab as the top of the can will be used as the bunny head. Spray with white paint.

Step 4: For the bunny mouth, paint the inside of the can red. If desired, you can make the red paint pink by adding white and using it to put pink cheeks on the bunnies.

Step 5: Paint eyes a light blue with white highlights.

Step 6: Use the permanent marker to draw whiskers on the bunny and to outline the eyes.

Step 7: Make ears for the bunny from white craft foam or felt.

Step 8: Make insides of ears for the bunny from pink craft foam or felt.

Step 9: Glue ears onto the top of the head.

Step 10: Make teeth from white craft foam or felt, and draw a line down the center to divide the teeth.

Step 11: Glue teeth under where the tab would be.

Step 12: Glue pink a pom-pom to center of whiskers and slightly below eyes to cover where tab would be for the nose, and a white pom-pom to end of bunny for tail.

Step 13: Make small bows from the satin ribbon for each bunny and glue to the bunny.

Step 14: Glue bunnies to wreath, leaving spaces for decorated eggs between them.

Step 15: Make eggs from the foam trays, and decorate with the paint and miscellaneous decorations to your liking (approximately a dozen can be used easily). You can use cotton swabs, or even cotton balls, to make dots, or glue rickrack to the eggs. The only limit is your imagination.

Step 16: Make a bow from the wired ribbon, and glue it to the center of the grapevine wreath.

Step 17: Place the flowers and ribbon amongst the eggs and bunnies as you desire to create the maximum effect.

Step 18: Attach the wire to the back of the grapevine for hanging.

Your wreath full of cute bunnies is now ready for display. This homemade craft makes a great gift for a loved one, as well as being a piece of decorative holiday décor for your home. Enjoy this cute, whimsical project that is full of hopping personality.
