My best advise to win at Texas Hold Em Poker is first learn the basic rules without playing for real money. Then when you feel comfortable start at a small amount working your way up, never going beyond your means. The worst thing you can do with poker is get carried away. A good simple rule is to only play two cards above 10, or a pocket pair, this way if you hit or not, you stand a good chance of winning. Play to your position, in a early position if you have a strong hand make sure you put a reasonable bet in, at the very least three times the big blind, enough to make people put down there terrible hands, otherwise they may continue to play and get to see the flop cheap. Never make it cheap for other players to hit. In a late position if the game has been called all the way round perhaps you will just call too and hope to get lucky, but the odd bet even with rubbish can narrow out you opponents and hopefully help you win that hand. My golden rule to win at Poker though has to be patience, you can not win a poker game as quick as you like sometimes, it can take many hours depending on the style of play from others and number of players. Your good hands will come along, you just need to maximize the profit from them. If you really are getting unlucky with the cards, look at the cards coming down, see if you can put others in belief you have a better hand, high risk can pay off, but do not try this too much in a game, as every time you are putting your tournament on the line. Never be pushed into sticking in your chips or putting in your whole stack it, does not always have to be this way, small consistent bets can really put some players off. All in can look very threatening to an opponent but only do this when you really need or feel you have to. Anyway these are just a few tips from me, I hope that they are of some use to you.

There are many theories on how to win a poker tournament. Some say you need to survive, play tight early on, and hope the cards take you to the final table. Others say you need to be aggressive from the start and accumulate chips. After all, you need chips to win as the blinds keep increasing each round. Winning a poker tournament is difficult. Even the top pros don't win many tournaments and they enter many throughout the year. The best advice is to study the game, read books, try different strategies, learn from your mistakes and keep improving. The fact is that even if you are the best skilled tournament poker player, you still need luck to be victorious. The best books on the game are Harrington on Hold'em and Hansen Every Hand Revealed. I'm an author of a highly acclaimed poker book, so take it from me that these book are a great place to start on your journey to poker stardom. This is a huge subject. But the basics are this.

Players deposit identical amounts of money with the tournament director or website. Example, $50. Each player receives the same number of chips, perhaps 1500.

Now play begins with a clock counting the levels. Levels dictate how big the blinds are: they start very small and grow at each level change. Typical tournaments change levels every 12-20 minutes, so after one hour your blinds will have increased several times. This is crucial to the success of the format because it's impossible to just sit back and wait for the best hands, as you will slowly be eaten away by the increasing blinds. You are pressured to make moves with weaker than premium hands, which in turn narrows down the tournament field as people get eliminated.

The prize money is divided among the players. The more players there are, the more places will be paid, but the top three receive the majority of the prize pool.

More detail on tournament play is on the attached link.

To win almost every time at Poker, its not about having the best hand, its about making the others think you have the best hand, im not a pro at poker but i think this'll be the best way to win:

1. Cash = More Cash - Make sure to Raise to a reasonably good amount of money, keep it in a decent region so that others with call it.

2. Flops - When you get first flop appear be sure to raise the amount slightly higher, therefore some will fold and some will start to challenge your bet

3. After Flop - Once the forth card of the flop is dealt raise like theres no tomorrow, people will soon suspect you have a good hand and will fold, leaving the cash in the centre

4. River - This is your Last Resort at any moment of the game, be sure you have some sort of a good hand otherwise those left at the table will be using these ideas or actually have a good hand

BE CAREFUL - If you start to find others raising your amount you may have to consider a fold also if some people go ALL IN this is a two way route: you either go with it and hope they think you're bluffing or fold to keep your money for the next round

REMEMBER - Its not about having the best - Its about pretending you have the best
