How do you win your ex back if you broke up 3 weeks ago and she says she still loves you but doesn't want to continue the relationship right now and is moving back into the same town you live?

Sometimes a couple can become too serious too quickly and she may need some head space. Perhaps you are both too young and she wants to be sure about your relationship. It's wise for you to be honest with yourself and see where you can improve things in your life as well. We all mature at a different pace. Sometimes splitting up and getting back together is refreshing, but, while split up still go out with friends and start dating again. It's tough if she moves back into your town, but you can still be civil to each other if you should bump into one another. Give the relationship time and if it was meant to be it will be. This is what I know: It sounds like she is giving you mixed messages, telling you one thing and then, the opposite. She may love you but not in the way you want her to. Pay attention to the part she said about not wanting to be in a relationship. She may have said the other part to try and make it easier for you when, in fact, it can be confusing to you. If she says she doesn't want to continue the relationship, you should honor her wishes. You have to accept the fact that you can't change someone and you can't 'win' her back. She is not a prize. The best thing is to leave her alone and go about your life without her. There's a saying that goes 'If you love something, set it free. If it loves you, it will return'. It's like a butterfly that lands on your hand and it was nice to have the butterfly there. He was beutiful and you wanted to keep him there, but if he flies away, you shouldn't try to catch him. He flew away because he wanted to fly away. Do you think he would be happy if you made him stay on your hand? It's like that with your ex-girlfriend. If you truly love her, wouldn't you want her to be happy? Well, apparently this is what she wants. Who knows, she may realize that she misses you and come back, but you can't be hoping that will happen. That would mean that you are still holding on to the hope that she will change her mind. You may be hurting now but that feeling will go away with time. Try to find something constructive to do & keep busy. If you have any anger or frustration, go to the gym and work out. That's what my son used to do when his girlfriend left him. He had a punching bag he used and he also took Martial Arts. You may try something like that. It will give you confidence within yourself. If you are still having a hard time dealing with it, you may want to seek counseling. There's nothing wrong with seeing a counselor. It can be very helpful to sit and talk to someone about how you feel and they can give you very good advice. I know. I have been there too. You will probably have many relationships in your life, although you may not think so right now and it never gets any easier to break up. Eventually, you may find the right person for you, but if you don't, that is alright. We don't have to have another person to make us whole.
