you can't really. it is permanent and only comes off when your skin cells fall off. you can try ribbing the skin cells off, but it is hard to do If you marked on a formica or other surface, often wiping it with rubbing alcohol will remove it.
You can get sharpie off of anything by tracing wherever the sharpie mark is with an expo marker.

Spray it with aerosol hair spray, not the pump kind. This will remove permanent marker or ink from almost anything. If that does not work, and it is a plastic surface that you would be able to wipe dry erase marker off of, you can write over the sharpie with the dry erase marker, and it will usually wipe off both the dry erase marker and the permanent marker.
It is very risking due to the amount of fumes from the alcohol. I recommend nobody should get high from a sharpie marker.
