I'm guessing you are having trouble deciding which post to put the small wire on. Don't fret, you aren't going to hurt anything by putting it on the wrong post. It will start either way but if it is on the wrong post it won't shut off with the key. You'll have to disconnect the battery to get it to shut off and put it on the other post. Good luck.

Slide in under the passenger side of the truck behind the front wheel and look up at the rear bottom side of the engine and you will see it. It will be round in shape and held in place with 2 bolts.
