There are several things that can cause your 1996 Nissan dashboard lights to flicker. The most common cause is a bad ground wire. Check the ground wire to make sure it is tight and free of corrosion.
The easiest way to get them to come on is to tap into the wiring harness of the parking lights.
Yes. You would need to wire them up to your running lights.
blown fuse, bad wire, bad bulb....
If you cut the wire from the light switch to the frount running lights (single use light) you can then hook a new wire from a keyed power source (check manuel) and the running lights will come on every time you start the truck. costs $Priceless
The wiring harness should already be there for your fog lights. Email me cpnt@optusnet.com.au for the colours
get a 12 volt tester light and turn the lights on and poke each wire until your tester light lights up and then you'll know what wire you need.
to wire the license plate lights you must have lights and wire them to the scooter.
Tap at the plug at headlight Hi-Beam
check for blown light bulbs ,then check for broken wire at lights
you've either shorted out your DICE box, or your dimmer fuse, tends to happen on cars with cut stereo harnesses as the red/yellow and blue/red wire powers the lights
It can be: * The headlight switch (there are multiple parts to the switch, for headlights, tail lights, dash lights) * A fuse (but if a fuse has blown out you need to figure out why, typically that's caused by a short) * A bad wire or connector.
