The 4 pin connector should have 4 colored wires. They are: Yellow - Left Rear Stop and Turn Signal Green - Right Rear Stop and Turn Signal White - Chassis Ground Brown - Tail / License and Running Lights If you are matching a vehicle to a trailer, be sure to verify this with a test lamp or meter. Some folks make up their own rules, and the connector could be wired differently from the standard!
You need to specify what type of connector. Most likely, you'll be using a seven blade connector, although six pin, five pin, and four pin connectors are also a possibility. The latter two would only be used if your trailer was not equipped with trailer brakes.
I got a 7 pin connector with harness and used the color code and put it to 6 pin green to left etc
A small triangle on the connector is the indicator for the positive lead. This marks one of the outside wires as pin 1. Line up pin 1 on the connector with the pin 1 found on the motherboard.the wire nearest the triangle is pin 1
on the fuse box the blue connector 40 pins is pin 7 or 52 pins is pin 10 , if no wire you need to add.

GREEN/BROWN WIRE IN A 2 PIN CONNECTOR AT THE REAR OF THE TRANSMISSION OR PIN 32 AT THE PCM PLUG PASSENGER SIDE FIREWALL
I'm answering my own question. The BLUE WIRE is behind the driver's side kick panel. On my '92 Jeep Laredo, it was folded up on itself with no connector. This is the wire that goes back to the 7 pin connector that operates the trailer brakes. It is typically connected to the BLUE WIRE on the brake controller. Dan
Found it. It is green/black connected to a 3 pin connector
The center pin of a seven blade trailer plug is for reverse lights, not power. What type of truck is it? What trailer plug do you have...
Pontiac sunbird-92-up-2.0l-white wire pin A6@ECU(smaller blue connector)
The powertrain control module (PCM) is located on passenger side of engine compartment, to the passenger side of the battery, below the hood stay. It has a single 104 pin connector on it. Locate the white/pink at pin number 48 of the connector. That is your tach wire.
check the ground wire on the trailer. if it is corroded at all they may not work. take a file to where the ground wire is hooked up to make sure it is on bare metal
