While it is never recommended to alter a Dog Training Collar in any way, depending on what type of collar it is there may or may not be Tracer Lights available for it. Usually Bark Collars and Electronic Fence Collars do not have available light attachments because with a Fence Collar the dog is already contained and there is no need to find them, whereas bark collars are designed solely to help stop the dog from barking. Usually Training Collars which need Tracer Lights are for hunting so the owner can track the dog easily while in the woods or wetlands.
Tri-tronics makes the best Training Collars around and any of their EXP models can be equipped with a Tracer Light for finding your dog. There are also many companies which make Tracking Collars including some which use GPS location to track your dog. These can be used for hunting dogs as well as dogs like Australian Shepherds which are adept at escaping.

Don't mess with the wiring on a "shock collar."
It should be waterproof. my dog swims with his shock collar on sometimes and nothing happens
The dog is equipped with a shock collar which can be triggered by the owner to give the dog a reminder that what she's doing is wrong. The trigger sends a radio signal to the collar which causes it to emit a small electric shock that feels unpleasant for the dog.
what year was the shock collar invented?
The main risk from using a dog shock collar, is that the collar itself can result in poorly timed intense electric shocks in the wrong hands and can therefore instill fear and anxiety in the dog.
Yes they can be very effective and pretty harmless. Some dogs who are neurotic can be affected negatively by them though .If you have a pretty mentally stabe dog then i recommend them . As long as your getting an electric fence and not tryin to torture your dog :] 2nd Answer: Play and pats are the best training method. If you are training a dog not to bark, then a shock collar is appropriate. Many dogs simply ignore the spray collars. BUT, if you use a shock collar, follow the dog around on the few times that you use it, and firmly command, "No Bark!" along with the shock. In short order, it will learn to obey your voice command. Unless it is a border collie, etc, which will also quickly learn when it has the shock collar on, and when it doesn't. When using the shock collar, you most likely will have to remove the regular collar with the dog's name and rabies tags . . . BE CAREFUL to not let the dog get away from you. Do not leave the dog unattended with the shock collar on and turned on! Most important be sure you KNOW what you are doing and how to handle the shock collar properly before you use it on your dog.
The Earthing of your electric pump night not be proper or improper insulation may be the reason.
no
Nothing to spray but you can get a collar to stop it. Their are 2 kinds the shock collar (delivers a light electric pulse when the dog barks) or the water collar (Sprays a mist of water at the dogs chin when it barks)
The electric eel's adaptations is #1, the electric shock.
Shock collars are used to tame dogs; by giving them an electric shock, the dogs associate the pain to the behavior that their owner is trying to suppress. Dangers of using these are widely discussed on pet sites, and especially on RSPCA communities.
Electric shock is to electrocuted as burned is to cremated. Electric shock is the same as electrocuted, except that electrocuted has actually induced death; to kill by electric shock.
