no , only if you have an R4 for your Nintendo DS a R4 is a memory card that holds games , music , and other things from your computer
It means that your R4 is not able to correctly read your microsd memory card. Remove it and re-insert it a couple of times from your R4. If it doesn't work try re-formating your microsd memory card
All r4i cards work on 3DS. But you need to understand that the R4 cards does not work on the 3DS 3D games and only for DS games. For the first generation R4, it does not work on the cards, please refer to 'R4i cards' , 'Acekard 2i' , ' M3i zero'.
It's not approved by Nintendo, and is illegal in several countries. R4 flashcard is prohibit by Nintendo. it is a hacking and anti-hacking proces. Just like the cat and mouse. Nintendo trying to beat r4 card, but it is really hard.
no it is not that is a r4 card it for the Nintendo ds r4 card is not legal in most country. as it hurt the benefit of Nintendo and game developer. with the r4 card, user can play most DS games for totally free. they won't pay any money to game developer. So Nintendo is beating flashcard all the time.
An R4 card is a type of flash memory card used primarily in Nintendo DS and DSi consoles to play games and run homebrew applications. It functions by allowing users to load game files onto a microSD card, which is then inserted into the R4 card. The R4 card acts as an intermediary, enabling the console to read the game files stored on the microSD. This setup allows for easy access to multiple games without needing to switch physical cartridges.
An R4 is basically a mod chip for the Nintendo DS console. You can download games from the internet and put them on your R4 card and play the games on your Nintendo DS.
You need a micro SD card r4 card and a Nintendo also a usb adapter.
From what I hear it is compatible. I am not compielty sure if it compatible. There are many r4 cards in the market currently. The r4 ds card is only for ds and ds lite. but the r4i card can run on dsi. Well, the latest version is r4 3ds card. It can run on Nintendo 3DS,DSi and DS console. If you want to get a flash card with good compatibility, I suggest you to got a r4 3ds card.
You can get flash carts such as the R4 or acekard, which read memory cards, but it is against this site's Terms of Use to tell you where to download Nintendo DS games (or ROMs)
an R4 and a microSD card
The R4 card is pretty simple. It works using a memory chip (usually a microSD) you simply hook the memory chip (not the r4 card) into a computer, download the appropriate files for your R4 card (the R4 Kernal) at http://www.r4ds.com/ . Then from there all files can be dragged a dropped onto the card (using your basic operating system's explorer [Things like my docs]) I recommend creating a music and games directory though, for simplicity, also, don't forget that the r4 card can hold and play movies, as long as the appropriate player and codecs are there. You just unzip the patch, and copy the music files into the root directory of the MicroSD card, then they can be played.
