Contact the MFG and get a new button.
Press the "power off" button on your computer. This button apparently has access to all of the multiverse of power, and will work, unless your computer is VERY screwed up.
Go to Start and then go to shutdown If that won't work then hit the power button if that won't work then hold down the power button. If that work work then unplug your computer or if you run a laptop take out the battery. and if that won't work call some scientists because you computer can run off nothing.
You can try plugging it in to a computer and syncing it. Hope this helps!

Make sure it's plugged in and you pushed the power button.

Ok, so you go to the top of your computer, you know, the tool bar. and you look for the button with the italicized word on it, and if you want your words to NOT be italicized, you click that button. if that does not work than i do not know what will :-)
Plug your Kindle into the computer. Go to the start button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Click on "my computer". Go to the Kindle button. On your computer find music and drag to the music folder. Then on your Kindle press the "menu" button and click "Sync & Check for items". It should work!
