Kayla has x Cds in her music collection if miriam has 7 fewer Cds than Kayla how many Cds does Miriam have?

Since there isn't enough data to actually find the number of Cds miriam has, we must simply write and expression for the number of Cds she has. Since Kayla has x Cds and Miriam has seven less;Miriam has x-7 Cds.

What is a read-write CD-rom?

This was mainly used to distinguish between different kinds of CDs, the (factory manufactored) read-only CDs, the recordable (write once) CDs and the re-writeable CDs.'Read-Write CD Rom' usually refers to the last kind. Formally it's a misnomer, since ROM (read only memory) would exclude writing, but since CD-ROM was initially the most common kind, many people referred to CDs as CD-ROMs and then added distinguishing modifiers like 'read-write' without realizing the specific meaning of the ROM acronym.(The same applies to read-write CD-ROM drives, named that way to distinguish them from read-only CD drives.)

How do you format a Write Protected CD on Vista or Windows 7?

Most CDs are "write-protected" when data has been written to them and are not rewritable, or are factory pressed. You cannot write over these as it is physically impossible. no, but you can get a pen and write "format" on the disk and THEN it will be physically possible to write on it :P
