It all depends on your boss. If your boss likes people like that, or if he doesn't, it could all make a difference. Get to know your boss, and find out if he has an upbeat personality. But if you're not a very upbeat person, or don't have a positive attitude, don't fake it. If your boss thinks you deserve a promotion, they will give it to you.
if i m a gernal manager in any organization my work is very good then my boss is given me promotion at the location but my faimly is not satisfied so what will i do if i m a gernal manager in any organization my work is very good then my boss is given me promotion at the location but my faimly is not satisfied so what will i do
Promotion: noun: a. a moving up in position or rank; advancement. b. the promoting of something; something devised to publicize or advertise a product, cause, institution; advertisement. Example sentences: 1a. My boss just gave me a promotion. 2a. Some of my coworkers also received a promotion. 3b. The promotion for the free shoes ended yesterday. 4b. There is a new promotion being offered on TV.
The promotion is nice, but it means working a lot more hours. As a special promotion, they're giving away free samples at the grocery store. The network ran promotions for the new series during the super bowl. Dad took the whole family out to dinner to celebrate his promotion at work. She's an exemplary employee who deserves the promotion. He'll never get the promotion because those in upper management despise him. She's always kissing up…

So you are passing a card to congratulate the long years of the boss in behalf of the staff? Nice idea. It depends on the personality of your boss. Is he pragmatic, sentimental, humorous, can he take a joke, or is he strictly-business. For a sentimentalist you should write little notes on the card gathered from the years of his service, or better yet let the co-worker write little quotes of past life in the…
You can either befriend the boss by going to their house and starting a conversation.(when you apply for a job the boss will be listed under boss) or go to them and talk to them and click on actions when you talk to them then click on ask for a promotion. Then he will either say yes or give you advice. if nothing works get a new job.
I assume this question means you were offered a promotion and refused it.... how it's interpreted varies by the personality of your boss, but generally, (unless you give a very good explanation of a different promotion you have as a goal in the company) you have committed job politics suicide: you'll be parked where you are, the perception will be that you won't do what's asked, management will view you as a prima Donna etc.
Usually supervisors / bosses write references for an employee. To write a reference for your boss to use when he/she seeks other employment, you would need to have knowledge and insight into what the boss's job entailed. You could also write strictly from the viewpoint of an employee evaluating the type of supervisor your boss has been when you worked under him/her. As an example of the latter, you could write: "Ms. Xxyyzz has always…
