Writing an Autobiography--writing the story of your life Writing a Biography--writing the story of someone else's life Whether you are the 10-year-old boy or not, start the same way... find out what things are important to the person, and then start writing about them. 10 years isn't a lot to those of us much older, but to a 10-year-old, it is everything. You can choose hobbies or activities as themes, or even do the traditional chronological play-by-play... asking "what do you like" is a good starting point. Finding themes with a 10-year-old might have to wait until you gather more material, since most 10-year-olds are less apt to think of their lives in that way. It is okay to just write snatches and organize later, when you have a lot of material and can see the whole picture.

To write an autobiography of a ten-year-old boy, start by focusing on significant events or milestones in his life, such as childhood memories, family relationships, school experiences, and interests. Use simple language and vivid details that capture the essence of being a child. Include reflections on his thoughts, feelings, and dreams at that age to provide a personal touch to the story.
