now you can get 2 types of files. overrides and dazips
for overides these will update/change something within the game.
got to your dragon age directory and put them in the following places:
\Dragon Age\packages\core\override
\Dragon Age\modules\single player\override
now for dazips these can stay anywhere you want but in \Dragon Age\bin_ship\ you will see a file called daupdater.exe open this and drag your dazip files into it then select them all and press "Install Selected"
