Most zoos have a policy whereby any animal in the collection that dies or is euthanased, must have a autopsy performed by their zoo vet or pathologist. Once the body is examined thoroughly, biopsies are taken and stored for future examination or testing. The remainder of the carcass is then disposed of (either buried or incinerated). Very rarely larger carcasses may be fed to one of the carnivores on the zoo grounds, as long as the animal it did not die of something contagious or was not given a lethal injection (which may then also kill anything that eats it).
I hope this answers your question.
maybe depends what type of zoo it is
Zoos cremate their dead animals.
Zoos are good if they aren't hurting the animals and they are in good living conditions.
i think its because sometimes the animals can get the sickness from other animals in the zoos
Not all zoos let scientists study their animals. Only certain types of zoos let them study their animals!
animals die in zoos caused by stress and loneliness
There are two sides to this question. Some zoos keep animals locked up in enclosed spaces without enough room to exercise, or without any similar animals for company. Other zoos have large open spaces where the animals can roam freely, like in their native habitat. Some zoos have taken animals that are endangered and are trying breeding programs to prolong the species.
Citizens Lobbying for Animals in Zoos was created in 1996.
Some animals
No, animals kept in zoos are there for breeding purposes, or for the public to enjoy.
Some zoos have animals just for show and they breed them there. Other zoos just have endangered animals: animals that are injured and cannot survive in the wild, babies that have been abandoned or separated from their parents or endangered species. But some zoos have a mixture of both... :)
Because the zoos keep the wild animals safe from hunters because they want the animals fur for coats
