People with ADHD have a harder time focusing on uninteresting things, but may hyper-focus more than most people on subjects of interest. They are more compulsive and as a result my do things without thinking. It also effects organization and memory in a negative way. The positive thing is that this is balanced by increased speed of thought and higher levels of creativity. Some of the most successful people have ADHD, such as the founders of Google.

This is my personal answer. Yes definitely, holding back stress does not only effect mental and emotional health but it also can effect your physical health as well. Find a way to release stress if you can!
