Imagery is what the author uses (in a novel, poem,quoteect.) to appeal to the five sentences- touch, taste, hear, smell, and see.Example: Her eyes were blue as if i was standing before the ocean.This is imagery because it makes you have the image in you head of some blue eyes and also, you can feel what its like to stand before the ocean.
