I am not sure you can relate a common currency to the geography of any place. A common currency allows easy trading. Geography can affect trading, by making it either difficult or easy to trade between point A and B.
The Euro doesn't have anything influenced by geography. It is a currency which is used by 17 countries that are in different parts of Europe. They are all members of an organisation called the European Union, which has a total of 27 countries. So geography does not affect the Euro.
