Greatly, greek symbols are still all around us today. for example, zeus' symbol was the eagle and if you look at the USA and Germany, they both utilise this because of its past implications of power. There are more and if you ever read Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, he does an amazing job of showing the link between greek mythology and the present day.
Many Greek myths relate in a older form what is in The Bible (the flood, the son of a god walking on water, the dead rising).

What we today call Greek Mythology came from the ancient peoples of the Mediterranean. Most other mythology comes to us from cultures who did not record their religion nearly so long or detailed a way.
Hades, as god of the underworld in Greek mythology, doesn't directly influence our lives today. However, the concept of Hades and the stories associated with him have contributed to our understanding of death, the afterlife, and the human experience of confronting mortality.
the Greeks are full of stupidity, so us Americans make fun of them.
Greek Mythology influences us in architecture because we adapted most of our building styles from the Greek people. We adapted something call Doric-Style it is basically the use of many types of colomns and a simple unadorned building. We also have the Parthenon, Mt.Olympus (the waterpark), and many other types of architecture to teach us about the Gods, Godesses, and the Titans. Greek Mythology also gave us many of the types of art we use today like mosaics. I don't have a lot of experience in politcs but there are many many books that reference back to Greek Mythology. I hope this helped a little..(:
In Greek mythology, Lycaon was a king of Arcadia
Greek civilisation was not influenced by Greek architecture. Greek architecture was a product of Greek civilisation
It is still all around us. The shoe brand Addas is the Greek goddess of flight that's why there is a wing on the shoe, and many of the movies made today are based on Greek mythology. Buildings copy Greek buildings, brands use Greek God names, and it doesn't hurt to know it.
Nobody deliberately learned Greek just to write Greek mythology. The Greek people spoke, read, and wrote in the Greek language, and were from an area known as Greece. They also happened to write a lot of mythology that we still read today. To the Greek people, writing stories in the Greek language was just as natural as us writing in English.
because Greek's were the first to come up with 3d art on the statues they made so they gave us a huge step forward in art.
Culture, curiosity, research. This was the Greeks life I know I'm no expert, but it's also an influence. It also helps us make decisions. Oh, and a major in college.
