He doesn't die. The people who say he does are idiot's. The reason they told you that is probably didn't read the whole book and were looking for an interesting chapter at the end and hear that he's dead. What really hap pends is when harry was hit with the "Aava Kadabra" Curse when he was a baby he got some of voldermourt's soul so he thought he had to die so that voldermourt would die too. So he let voldermourt hit him with a killing curse, what happend was voldermourt didn't kill Harry but his soul inside of Harry. However Harry did have to chose to live or to die and he chose to live.
