In the book "The Giver" Jonas witnesses his father take and weigh twins. The larger twin is cleaned and sent to be dressed. The other twin, although he is only a tiny bit smaller, is chosen to be released. Jonas is relatively unaware of what will occur. He thinks that his father is giving the infant his shots. His father injects a chemical into the infants fontal. The infant cries very hard and then dies. Jonas does not fully comprehend that the infant has been killed until he sees it put into a box and dumped away like garbage.
Jonas is devastated and angry. He does not understand how his society can end a life and dispose of it like garbage. Jonas was willing to hold the memories of the people. However, his witness of the release is the turning point for Jonas. The rest of the story progresses because of his new knowledge.
Jonas is shocked and horrified by the children's war game, as he has no concept of violence or pain in his society. He feels disturbed by the casual way the children treat the idea of war and killing, which is completely foreign to him. This experience contributes to his growing realization of the darker aspects of his community.
He thought of it as something bad and painful although the others cant feel pain.
Jonas is the only one who reacts this way because he actually knows the pain of war and how people die of it since the Giver transmitted this memory to him and that is why Jonas declines to play.
Jonas totally freaks out, and gets upset because he knows about real war and how devastating it really is.
He freaks out knowing, the feelings of pain and suffer toward the game .
R u stupid? Look it up in the book!!

Jonas feels the sunshine which is so nice and warm but the sun burns even harder on his skin and he wants it to stop. That is the first physical pain.

The Giver reacts with scorn because the society is designed to suppress knowledge and individuality. By revealing that he has gained knowledge about the brain, Jonas challenges the rules of the community and threatens the control that the Elders have over the citizens. The Giver understands the dangerous implications of having this kind of knowledge in a society built on conformity and ignorance.
Jonas reacts with shock and pain when the Giver gives him the memory of breaking a leg in sledding. He experiences the physical pain and fear associated with the memory, as it is a new and intense sensation for him. This memory helps him understand the concept of pain and injury more deeply.
In "The Giver," eye color is seen as a unique trait since it is the only physical attribute that differentiates people in the community. The society places importance on conformity, so any differences, such as eye color, are often viewed with suspicion or curiosity. Individuals with unusual eye colors, like Jonas and the Giver, are seen as special or different.
His kill the kids
Jonas reacted in a very dramatic way because he knew that war was not something to play about.
