How does Kingdom Hearts 3 end?

sora and riku defeat xemnas in the nothing world then find themselves in darkness on the beach ( with is the dark realm ) then magically a bottle washes up on shore from kiari and after reading the letter a door to light is opened allowing the heroes to finnally go home.

It is a message sent by King Mickey, probably an invitation to a new adventure. We don't know, as of yet, what the message actually says. This message is also evidence for upcoming titles in the series. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, perhaps? Or maybe even Kingdom Hearts III.

Once Xemnes is defeated, Riku and Sora find themselves in a world of darkness. They gaze out towards the ocean. Riku finds the note that Kairi wrote at the beginning of the game. It washes to the shore and Riku takes a quick glance at it. "It's for you" he says to Sora and hands it over. Sora reads the note that says:

"Thinking of you, wherever you are.

We pray for our sorrows to end,

and hope that our hearts will blend.

Now I will step forward and realize this wish.

And who knows:

Sora and Riku then look up and see a bright light. It starts to open up.

"The Door to Light"

They then appear above Sora, Riku and Kairi's home land of Destiny Islands. They fall from the sky into the ocean and emerge. Sora and Riku happily swim towards Kairi, Donald and Goofy waiting for them at the shore. Sora looks up at Kairi who starts to fade into Namine. Kairi looks back at Sora who starts to fade into Roxas. They smile as Sora returns the good luck charm to Kairi from the first game.

*CREDITS PLAY*

At the end of the credits we see Sora, Riku and Kairi back at their usual spot by the Paopu fruit tree. A message-in-a-bottle washes up on the shore. There is a Mickey Mouse symbol on it. The camera starts to pan out and we see a sort of birds eye view of Sora opening the note, reading it and smiling. That's when the game ends.

Setting: The World That Never Was

A hooded figure (Roxas) emerges from the darkness as a swarm of Neoshadows materialize. The hoded figure summons two keyblades (Oathkeeper & Oblivion) and starts running towards a large skyscraper. An older and blindfolded Riku is seen at the top of the tower. Roxas starts slaying the Heartless and runs up the tower. He throws the Oblivion to Riku and dialogue from the game starts to fly on the screen. KINGDOM HEARTS II appears on the screen.

run into it nd you will see all the destroyed worlds run along the invisable path which is the paths of round then go ito the portal beat the boss jump into the glowing thing if you miss it then just climb the web you see flames jump in or run pass well waterever then go into the red flame at the end(green flame has save point) then kill all heartless examine the machine then he will tell some information then suddenly that place starts to disappear out of existence run out then jump into the portal(it used to be the red flame) then a boss is there kill it he will disappear fly into the mount it was in then go down the path ways and suddenly a boss will come(that guy with the horn bethamoth i think) then a peice of the heartless symbol will break out heartless appear kill them until the heartless symbol disappears run in it the portal a save point and you will see that door from the start of the game as it said"the door is near but also very far away" and the song get creepy then run into the door and you find ansem(heartless clone) kill him and etc
