∙ 13y agoOn the special features of Sweeney Todd (on the first/main disc Burton+Depp+Carter=Todd), they show how they filmed the scene where Mrs. Lovett was thrown into the furnace. They basically had Depp actually throw Bonham-Carter into this large prop oven. So she actually did get thrown into the bake oven, however the flames and burning effect were obviously digitally added in later.
