Mr. Obama has also championed policies that would benefit women. He believes that women should be paid the same as men for doing the same job, and he championed a law to make sure women are in fact paid equally to men. In education, an issue very important to women and families, he believes in smaller class sizes for schools, more support and rewards for excellent teachers. It should also be noted that President Obama has appointed two women to the Supreme Court, and his Secretary of State is a woman.
