What we know, ourself as Krishna consciousness (more or less) persons, Steve Jobs was related to Apple/Beatles (George Harrison). Actually it was 60-70-es, when A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada by order of his spiritual master, Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura, brought Krishna consciousness to English speaking countries, precisely - to America. So somehow devotees got in touch with Beatles and George Harrison became interested in Krishna consciousness - most comparing to other Beatles members. So this was almost same time when Steve Jobs got to know about Krishna consciousness. What is known for sure, is that 'Apple records' of Beatles can be related somehow to 'Apple computers' of Steve Jobs. And answer here is - "Hare Krishna". Only when we speak of Krishna consciousness, only then we can understand why Beatles and Steve Jobs used same word "Apple".
steve wanted to see feel the effects of alternative medicine to give rise to its use.
Steve Jobs felt betrayal when Android system was built because he thought the Android product was a stolen product. He even said he will "destroy android" when they made the product.
Example, if you are a Hare Krishna then part of your religion is that you don't eat meat. I personally do not eat meat because I feel that I don't need it and that it does cause unnecessary suffering.
Hare Krishna At first you will have to vow to take brahmacharya and follow the 4 regulative principles - no meat eating , no gambling, no intoxication and no illicit sex - along with 16 rounds of chanting the Mahamantra everyday. For this you will have to undergo a training program as a bhakta where certain austerities have to be followed like staying in the ashram, getting up at 3.30 am and getting ready for mangala arati at 4.15 am. This program might last for 6-12 months when u will be receiving the first initiation and further 12-24 months for second initiation (brahmana initiation). You can mainly start of by visiting the Hare Krishna centers regualrly and keeping in touch with the devotees. You can enrol for programmes like Art of Mind control, Yoga retreat, Secrets of success and Friends of Lord Krishna (FOLK) run in ISKCON, Hare Krishna Hill, Bangalore. You can log on to www.iskconbangalore.org or www.folknet.in for details. You can also subscribe for newletters from FOLK. For householders there is a separate protocol to associate as congegration devotees till the authorities are satisfied of conduct for a formal initiation. No, he didn't fit what I feel is the classic definition of a hero, but that does not mean he was not an admirable man. There is no doubt that he was successful and did some great things.
Yes, we know he died. He died October 5, 2011. He died because he got cancer. We all feel sorry for the Apple Company.
Jonny Ives, Apple's chief designer was the main person in charge of the look and feel of the iPad, but Steve Jobs was the person who made the decision to build it.
