The Bible is our 'Owner's Manual'…our handbook for life. It:

- teaches us how to be the best person we can be

- demonstrates the best way to live our lives and be acceptable to God.

- contains principles for life that cover anything and everything we could face

- explains who God is and what he expects of us

- explains where we came from, why we're here and what the future holds.

At Ephesians 4:23, 24, Christians are admonished: "You should be made new in the force actuating your mind, and should put on the new personality which was created according to God's will in true righteousness and loyalty."

Only by application of Bible principles in our lives, can we do this.

To the world in general, the expression "Word of God" used with reference to the Bible might mean a book that devout men wrote about God, but the Bible actually originatedwith God. This means that, while various men were used to do most of the actual writing, the Bible has only one Author, God.

The Bible itself says that "all Scripture is inspired of God."

And "prophecy was at no time brought by man's will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit." (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21)

Reading the Bible is vitally important, but DOING what it says is more so.

It is a guide by which Christians should live their lives every single day.

(Psalms 119:105) (Matthew 7:21-23)
