T-rexes are bipeds, like humans. They can run, and they take large steps due to their large bodies and tall height. They are 40 feet long, 18 feet high, and weigh 7 tons, so it would be very hard to outrun them and they have a whopping Jaw strength of 12,800 pounds. Their eye position was like a wolf's, and they must have hunted like a wolf.

So they would have probably snook up behind their prey, and then gave chase. Once their prey began to lose breath or if it was young and couldn't run any longer, it would have aimed for the neck. If the dinosaur put up a fight it would have bitten the dinosaur's armour before killing it.
