Unlike older vehicles, today's vehicles have computers and other electrical components that require the battery to remain connected to the vehicle circuitry full time thus requiring a small but constant use of battery power. A battery maintainer will keep a battery charged and can be connected full time without overcharging. These are pocket size version of the automatic battery charger, but only have low current capabilities of 1 amp or less.
using car maintainer,,,, There is a big difference in a regular Battery Charger and a Battery Maintainer. A Maintainer will keep a battery charged and can be connected full time without overcharging. The usual Battery Charger is for intermittent use at times when your battery is so weak that it must be recharged in a short time, then disconnected from the charger to keep it from overcharging. A good Maintainer can not overcharge.
Use a battery maintainer.

Battery Charger/ Maintainer. The automatic variety will constantly check the battery and keep it "topped off". Solar Chargers are very green and pay for themselves over time. Some can be plugged into the cigarette lighter.
is your battery Low or poor?? Charge your battery on slow charge for 8hrs to give it a good deep charge, Installing an alternator on a low or dead battery will ruin it and also not charge your battery properly.. An alternator is not a battery charger its a battery maintainer!!
Space maintainer-- An orthodontic appliance that is worn to prevent adjacent teeth from moving into the space left by an unerupted or prematurely lost tooth.
Servant of The Maintainer, The Provider
A Gel-Cell battery would be good, but even better would be to put a constant float charger/maintainer like the ones they sell at Advance Auto or even harbor freight tools for 20 bucks or so.
network-manager-kde is an Ubuntu/ Debian package for KNetworkManager. Anthony Mercatante is the maintainer for Ubuntu. Michael Biebl is the maintainer for Debian. KNetworkManager is developed by Novell.
how does a battery work
This is a problem common to most, if not all, modern vehicles, and is more noticeable and happens more quickly to older batteries. The problem is typically caused by the engine computer's constant use (and need) of power. Your stereo often uses a small constant amount of power as well, to maintain memory presets and correct time on its clock. One way to counteract this is to either, disconnect the battery when the vehicle is not to be used for long periods of time (not necessarily the best option, since battery disuse for long periods can be harmful to the battery as well), or make use of a battery maintainer or similar device. The better option, in my opinion, is to use a solar powered battery maintainer (mine cost about $50 CDN online), which is simply a small solar panel which, when wired properly to the battery or plugged into your constant power socket inside the cabin, sends a small trickle of power to the battery to counteract the draw of power from the vehicle's various electronics, and which also maintains the battery's ability to charge and discharge properly while the battery is not in use. *Important: Be certain to use a maintainer that incorporates technology that prevents battery overcharging which will damage the battery. Not all maintainers use it.*Battery maintainers that plug into your household outlets are also available, as are battery conditioners which are reputed to recondition your older battery allowing it to perform at near-new capacity. Also, while replacing your older battery with a new one will not solve the problem, a new battery will perhaps hold a charge for longer periods of time.
