a dog wags its tail only when something can see it.if someone gives it a bowl of food,it might wag as a thank you or something like that.if a bowl of food drops from thin air and the dogs lonely,it wouldn't wag.if a dog nips another dog and wags its tail, the other dog would know it's playing.

they are actualy not..or shouldnt be... its all in the way they were raised as a puppy and trained. if trained right your dog should let you touch its tail like any other part of its body with out a diffrent reaction. if your dog is agrressive when you touch its tail, then you need to correct that behavior right away! make sure your dog understand you are boss and it does not need to be agrressive. if your dog is sensitive about its tail then maybe you should think why that is.... if you pull your dogs tail often or twirl it aroud or yank it by its tail, then thats why it dosent want you to touch its tail.

Yes, the purpose of whiskers is to sense things around them. Whiskers are about as wide as the rest of the dog's body, so a dog can figure out whether or not they can fit in something without getting stuck in the process. Just imagine whiskers being like hair, you can feel something on the end of it, and the same goes for dogs and whiskers.
