I had an old fuse box on my house when I bought it and I was told by a pro that it was best to replace the box because of possiblities of fires, and breakers no working properly.
down the dash diver side is the fuse box for a 1997 Honda civic DX if you have a upgraded stereo sometimes they will not hook the old one back up and it cases the indoor light to not work idk about the dash board
First locate the fuse in the fuse box, then pull old fuse out and insert new fuse.
the fuse box in the old 240z always melt when they get old because of corossion in the elictrical systems connections .I fixed mine by replacing the old fuse box with a new improved one from motorsport.Does not get hot anymore and works great Ken
The main differences between the new work box and old work box are their installation methods. The new work box is installed before the wall is finished, while the old work box is installed after the wall is already in place. Additionally, the new work box is secured to the wall studs, while the old work box is typically held in place by clamps or screws.
To replace a fuse box, you will need to turn off the power, remove the old fuse box, install the new one, connect the wires correctly, and test the new fuse box to ensure it is working properly. It is recommended to hire a licensed electrician for this task to ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes.
In the parts stores in the bins marked fuses. In a house with old wiring, in a fuse box on a wall somewhere. In a car in a fuse box somewhere under the dash or in the engine compartment.
I have an old Honda Accord. My fuse box is located under the far left side of the dash, just below the coin box and in the general area of the hood release lever. There is a black knob that says "FUSE" which is turned 90 degrees to hinge down the coin box and reveal the fuse box diagram. The diagram has NO reference to the air conditioner, but the fuse that controls my A/C is #5. It's the 10-amp fuse that also controls the REAR DEFROSTER. There is a small plastic fuse puller and a few spare fuses in the box (see fuse box diagram). Remove the #5 fuse with the fuse puller and see if the filament is burned through. If so, replace with the spare 10 amp fuse in your fuse box. Spares can also be found at any car parts store for about 50 cents each. The replacement fuse can be inserted easily by hand. If the A/C fuse burns out repeatedly, it could indicate a larger problem such as a bad compressor coil. Not sure if this will help with your Civic, but your owner's manual may also have a diagram of the fuse box. Jeff
Find the fuse in the fuse box that goes to the power windows. (it should be labeled on the lid or some where near.) then once you know which type of fuse to get. It is probably a 15 or 20. Go to a car parts store like checkered or advanced auto parts and buy a matching fuse. Then just switch the old with the new. Your best bet is to bring the old fuse in so your sure to get the same kind.
First, locate the fuse box. Then, once inside the fuse box, locate the 120 amp fuse. Remove it by pulling it straight out. Lastly, place the new one in place of the old one.
Needle nose pliers if you are speaking about an automotive fusebox Or if it very old style fusebox for home it unscrews
Under the steering wheel column you will see the fuse box. To change them just pull the old fuse out..and replace with a new fuse
