Hey i have an apprentice ship as a photographer and at work i have a stuido when shooting beads i have this problem were i get 2 shadows when i only want one i am using 3 lights what do i do?

You're shooting with soft light, correct? And you've got one light box on the left side of the beads, one above them and one to the right? Do this: Remove the overhead box from its boom. Extract the light head and set it on the table. Fold up the light box, collapse the stand and put both back in their cases. Then put the light head in the left-hand light box, and adjust the position of that light box until the second shadow disappears. You are trying to wash out the shadow on one side of the beads. This will do it.

What is a photography soft box?

A soft box is a 5 sided box made of white cloth. A light is placed behind it facing into the box. ( all of this is just outside of camera view) The subject matter is on the other side of the box. The light shining through the box is defused by the cloth making it appear as soft light on the subject. ( No hard shadows.) This is often called "Window light."
