Ideally, foaling takes place in a specially built large stall called a foaling stall. When foaling outside in a herd, mares often separate themselves to foal. A few seek out the company of a special horse friend (usually another mare) or the herd while foaling.

When horses are running they can get hurt also?

If a horse stumbles while galloping, cantering or trotting, even walking, they can become lame, depending on how bad they stumble. Unless they are wild horses, paddock ground should be even.

Should horses be kept in reticulated paddocks?

I will assume that by reticulated paddocks you mean divide paddocks used for rotation. This is one of the best methods for keeping horses on grass for as long as possible. It allows one or more paddocks to recover while the horse has grass in another paddock. Thus preventing grazing down of all the grass and having the paddock torn up in bad weather.

Same as any other living creature, man included, the age at death is unique to each animal. Most horses that are looked after well live into their late 20's to early 30's. Ponies tend to live longer than larger horses

Why do wild horses have stand up manes but domestic horses don't?

Not all wild horses have erect manes and not all domestic horses have 'floppy' manes. Some wild horses developed erect manes to help with camouflage and cooling. While domestic horses and other wild horses mainly have floppy manes to help shoo away bugs.
