You need to find out the motherboard manufacturer and the model number; then go to the manufacturer website, look up your motherboard and look for a BIOS download. Make sure you follow the proper procedure recommended by your motherboard manufacturer for flashing the BIOS.

It also depends on what types and amounts of components are part of the motherboard. If you look at specs for laptops it will give you the total weight of the laptop, but not usually the weight of the motherboard itself, unless that is part of its advertising strategy. :) To look at different types of motherboards, you might want to look at newegg.com or a similar online store where you can compare specifications.
Look for what type of socket the CPU has its usually lga 1155 but there are other kinds so you should look under specs and find the socket type and then find a motherboard that has the socket type
