Paramecium are a single celled organism. On the side of a Paramecium is a large vacuole that looks a lot like a mouth. Swallowing water through the vacuole, the paramecium picks up small morsels of algae which pass straight into its cellular structure, as its cell wall is permeable to small solids. If you look at a Paramecium under a light microscope you will see tiny dots within it, this is the food that it has eaten.
It uses its cilia to direct food into the oral groove.
the organism is able to ingest food by a process called phagocytosis where the food particles are engulfed through the oral groove
Paramecium have little holes in there bodies. They ingest the food by getting air and it ingests the food.
The outer membrane forms a vacuole around the food and pulls it into the cytoplasm.
in other words the contractile vacuoles
food particles enter through the oral groove
the food vacuole helps digest the parameciums food inside the food vacuole
sometimes parameciums are use to eat bad bacteria. They are also used to test the effects of cancer on the body.
Yes they are. Protists can be Parameciums and Ameboas and they are heterotrophs.
Yes all cells have cell membranes
they live long now live that junk alone people dang
Parameciums ingest by using their cillias.
parameciums mainly and small protazoans too.
the food vacuole helps digest the parameciums food inside the food vacuole
No. Parameciums, a type of ciliates, have to get energy first before they're even able to move, so these eukaryotes don't only swim around. Parameciums use their cilia (tiny hair-like organelles) to sweep food from their surroundings into their gullet, which is like a mouth. They also use their cilia for transportation.
parameciums live in water... (ponds, lakes, streams)
your fat

they eat bacteria through there oral groove that then is transfered into the food vacuole were the food is digested by enzymes and the un digested food or extra is excreated out of the anal pore.
for parameciums sometime0s because it can eat bacteria your body needs. For example if your body didnt see a certain kind of deasise it will eat it before your body see's it ............................................................................this is coming from a 6 grader

it swims all day and every nite
Yes all cells have cell membranes
