there are no cars in the world that can go 500 mph. at such a speed it would be too dangerous to have a human driver. 500 mph is to high for todays technology, so the only way to make it go 500 mph is to turn it into a jet. :)

Well a piston engined car has gone 462mph at Bonneville but such a vehicle is not for the road of course. They say they are working on a 500mph vehicle.
