Best Answer

Sea Urchins spawn, much like fish, directly into the sea. First the male with release his sperm into the water and then the female will release her eggs. This type of mating is very common among water dwelling animals.

Although some sea urchins incubate their eggs in special pouches, they do not care for their offspring. It takes up to 5 years for baby sea urchins to grow big enough to retreat to the ocean floor.

They do not actually mate as in having sex.

Sea anemones reproduce by budding off baby sea anemones. The babies stay connected to the adult until it is old enough to go out on their own. If a sea anemone is torn apart by rocks, then each part might become a new sea anemone.

They (most of them) can reproduce both sexually and asexually.
