The spider produce liquid proteins inside their body. These proteins are pumped into it's duct(spider's behind), cells extract all liquid from the silk to another part of the duct. Here hydrogen atoms are taken out from the liquid making acid that goes back to the silk and harden it to what we now know as worlds strongest fiber that also can stretch up to 140% of it's original length.
Many laboratories have tried to make synthetic silk by using the Spiders web gene or bacterias. However not enough facts or produced silk have ever been released to the public to announce these experiments successful.
