The cat's stripes make him nearly invisable in cover or dappled sunlight.Remember,most of the tiger's prey are color blind,so they don't notice the orange color.Being a solitary hunter,the tiger needs every advantage to catch its prey,because most are faster and can smell better than the tiger.He needs to be able to slip up unseen,to make that fateful spring.
