How did this Cleveland Volcano develop
because of the bla bla bla ....
Volcanoes on continents can develop at path convergent and divergent boundaries. They can occur where an oceanic plate subducts under a continental plate, producing a volcanic arc such as in the Cascade Range. Volcanoes can also occur in areas of rifting, such as Africa's Great Rift Valley, a developing divergent boundary. Where two oceanic plates converge volcanoes can develop underwater and eventually form volcanic islands. Volcanoes can also develop away from a plate boundary over a hot spot.
Not necessarily. Shield volcanoes are volcanoes, but not all volcanoes are shield volcanoes.
They are non-living as volcanoes do not breathe, eat, reproduce, does not have any cells, does grow but does not develop.

Three types of volcanoes are Cinder Cone Volcanoes, Shield Volcanoes and Composite Volcanoes.
On tectonic plates.
Cays are formed by volcanoes that existed years ago

It is not so much that volcanoes tend to occur on islands as much as many islands are formed by volcanoes. Subduction zones and hot spots often cause volcanoes to develop on the sea floor. Erupted material then piles up to form islands.
Volcanoes are nonliving things because they don't reproduce or grow and develop.
A volcano is nonliving. Although they do grow, they do not develop, or breathe, or reproduce, or eat.

I think there is a move afoot to develop giant multimillion dollar corks. designed to plug up all of the worlds volcanoes.
No, volcanoes do not need lava to be volcanoes.
