*SPOILER*It is said that john marston needs to die at the end when he goes out of the barn because their is a lack of dead eye and ammo. However, i have been determined to see if i could save john because in the game Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, john is alive, and it is also supposed to be the future of Red Dead Redemption. Many other people have been trying to see if you can keep him alive, but nobody has succeeded at it.

After, you play as Jack Marston, and most people will want to complete the game 100% and get all the achievements and trophies. The only story involved mission you do as Jack Marston is what's called "Remember my Family" and is found in Blackwater marked by a question mark as if it were a stranger mission (which is technically what it is). All the outfits, mounts, stranger missions, challenges and everything else will still be available as Jack Marston.
