Do you have a limited amount of eyelashes or is there a time when they will stop growing?

No, we don't have a limited amount of eyelashes and their growing rate depends on age as with all hair in our body which mainly has to do with blood flow. As we age, blood doesn't circulate as fast as when we are young thus less oxygen and nutrients decreased amount and growth of hair.

What were the dominant organisms during the carboniferous?

Arthropods were at their largest during this period due to high oxygen levels. It´s sometimes called the Age of the Insects. Ferns and horsetails grew to the size and build of trees, too, and fossils of them are common.

Why are oxygen levels not dropping if carbon dioxide levels are increasing?

The oxygen levels are dropping but because the total carbon dioxide level changes are in the 100 ppm range and the oxygen levels are in the 21 percent range the impact is not noticeable to the casual observer on a yearly basis. Carbon dioxide levels have risen some 35 per cent, from the historic range of 260-280 parts per million (ppm) to the present level of 400 ppm, since the beginning of the Industrial Age. While this is significant for global warming, it must be remembered that the measurements are still only in parts per million of the total gases in the atmosphere. The oxygen levels have also fallen a corresponding by several parts per million. For the math, consider oxygen at 21% of the atmosphere (210,000 ppm), if the entire CO2 addition of 100 ppm or so were to directly result in a reduction the oxygen levels O2 levels would have gone down from 210,000 ppm to 209,900 ppm as 1 ppm of CO2 is created by the combination of carbon 1 ppm of O2 . This is a reduction of less than 0.05% over a period of decades. It should be noted that due to the changing growth of trees and crops in winter and summer there is a seasonal rise and fall of atmospheric oxygen in the hemispheres which hides this trend to some extent. Even at this low level of decrease the reduction can be tracked by scientists. The American National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado has published a paper on its tracking the low levels of oxygen depletion. The data gives yet another confirmation of the impact of increased CO2 emissions and the reduction of CO2 take up by trees and forests due to deforestation.

How can you tell the age of a red blood cell?

Red blood cell age can be determined by the size and shape of the cytoplasm and the nucleus or absence of nucleus.

Which process occurs when an egg cell blood and pieces of uterine lining leave the body through the vagina?

The process you are referring to is menstruation, also known as a woman's period. During menstruation, the egg cell is not fertilized, so it along with the blood and the lining of the uterus are shed and expelled from the body through the vagina. This typically occurs on a monthly basis in females of reproductive age.

What abot oxygen levels in blood mine is 96 percent im 55 is that too low?

96% on room air (meaning no oxygen being administered) is perfect for a 55 year old. Oxygen levels do vary by age, health status, and other variables- but for a normal, healthy adult the range would be 95-100%.

Recent sleeping oxygen saturation level was 81 Is this normal what can cause this?

Normal oxygen saturation levels vary slightly depending on age and activity. A blood oxygen level of less than 90 percent is considered abnormal. The organs in the body need a continuous supply of oxygen to function properly. If oxygen saturation levels in the body become too low, various problems can develop. When oxygen saturation is too low it is called Hypoxemia.

How does age affect vital sign?

Aging affects vital signs in many ways. When you get older you tend to have a lower pulse and temperature. Sometimes blood pressures are extremely high or extremely low. And oxygen levels in the blood tend to be lower.

How old do you you have to be to donate blood in CT?

If a person is less than 21 years of age what is the highest or blood alcohol level should be at?

Age has nothing to do with blood alcohol levels, but how much you drink and how you metabolize the alcohol. A glass of wine with dinner is about all you can do to keep it under DUI levels.

What is the range for healthy levels of triglycerides?

Triglyceride levels vary by age, weight, and sex. Triglycerides are lipids that circulate in the blood stream. Measurements are usually taken when cholesterol levels are analyzed.

What is the Haemoglobin content in men?

With age does chronic stress increases blood levels of cortisol and appears to contribute to memory deterioration?

true

How does gender affect blood pressure?

High blood pressure is the result of heredity, age, activity level, and nutrition. Males have higher blood pressure than females until the age of 55, where the risk of high blood pressure is the same for both sexes. After menopause, levels of estrogen are significantly lower, thereby increasing blood because high to medium testosterone levels are related to high blood pressure. Source linked

What receives oxygen from the lungs?

Blood vessels comes in two forms, veins(carry deoxygenated blood), arteries(carry oxygenated blood) and capillaries? maybe, i am not sure if it is a form of blood vessel. Written by Brigitte.P age 13Basically, oxygen-rich blood is pumped from the heart and is carried to the body cells by the red blood cells. the red blood cells contain haemoglobin and this reacts with the oxygen in the blood to make oxyhaemoglobin. the oxygen is then separated from the haemoglobin and respiration occurs in your body cells. Carbon dioxide is made and is carried back to the right side of your heart and is pumped to the lungs to be exhaled
