As the piston moves down, the vacuum created allows outside air to push open the inlet valve (left). During compression (right), the inlet valve shuts while air is pressed into tank.

Which Compressor are you talking about ? The a/c compressor or the rear suspention Compressor ?
Are you talking about an air conditioning compressor or the rear air compressor for the suspension? Please post a new question to specify.
It has no air compressor. If you are talking about the A/C compressor, raise the hood and look see.
I'm Guessing that your talking about the A/C compressor, in which there are 1 or 2 wires going to the clutch. Disconnecting this wire(or 2) will disable the compressor clutch stopping the compressor from working.
Yes, i think they are both talking about the growth of britain. :)
It does not have an Air Compressor. If you are talking about the A/C Compressor, then just look at the drive belts. One of these belts is driving the compressor. If it has one serpentine belt, it is driving the A/C compressor, PS pump, Alternator, & Water Pump. Just follow the belt to find it.
I heard my friends talking about an electric furnace, but I don't know what it is used for. What is an electric furnace used for?
Are you talking about the AC compressor? If so, go to Smokinvette.com and about 3/4 of the way down in the C5 technical section you will see a thread that has full details on how to do this!
if your talking about the serpentine, you buy a new one
Yes
If you are talking about the a/c compressor its under the hood mounted on the engine in front of you..........
