its a like a little gun that has a blunt stud at the end. when the person pushes the trigger the stud will extend really quick so it can make the piercing fast and more traumatic. it actually feels like a slight pinch. Don't get anything pierced with a gun. I could write forever about the reasons for staying away from guns but itd be easier if you just Google it. Needles are way better in the long run.
