An electric car is like a Radio Controlled toy car in that it uses a battery and an electric motor. An electric car might also be compared to an elevator that uses an electric motor to move people in an efficient and pollution free way. (ignoring that the power has to be made somewhere, somehow.)
Older electric cars had simple technology, like an RC toy car, but modern electric cars use electronic motors that wouldn't even work without the electronics.
Electric
Depends on which electric vehicle you are asking about.
Either by Petrol/Nitro or electric.
500 a month
Hybrid cars are not the same as an electric car. Electric cars run on electric power exclusively, while hybrid cars use a combination of electric energy and another fuel to run.
14 volts
The Chevy volt car is an electric car but not fully because the battery only goes for 25-50 miles per charge. After that, a gasoline engine starts and produces energy for the electric battery to run the car. Gas is only used after the battery is run down and can be charged again.
no you can't
hybrid vehicles run on both an electric motor and gas motor ... electric car run of a power cell the is charged by pulling it to an electric out let and or power box
Unless it is all electric - then it has a motor.
it depends on the car. Some cars only run a few hours other run for days
Not long enough! and not in enough extreme temperatures for Minnesota's varied climate.
