Anorexia is a dangerous medical disorder. By starving themselves, anorexics often face harmful and potentially deadly medical risks and side effects related to starvation. Excessive exercsie can permanently damage bones and muscles in the body. The immune system can be weakened, and organ like the heart can become weak and stop working properly. Anorexia is also detrimental to one's mental health, too.
