Secondary growth in cortical region forms secondary cortex inside and periderm outside the cortical cambium
cortical thickness is a brain morphometric measure used to describe the combined thickness of the layers of the cerebral cortex in mammalian brains,
Feel with your fingers the "space" in the center of the back of your neck at the base of the skull. The cerebral cortex is directly above that.
Juxtamedullary Nephron: renal corpuscles close to the base of renal medulla (long loop of Henle and long thin segments that extends in the inner region of renal pyramid) Coritcal Nephron: renal corpuscles in the outer part of the renal cortex (short loop of Henle and hairpin turn in the thick segment) Intermediate Nephron: renal corpuscles in the mid-region of renal cortex (intermediate lenght loop of Henle)
This depends upon which cortex you are asking about. The cerebral cortex is a cream-white color unless it is fixed in formalin, at which point it turns gray. The renal cortex is a deep reddish-brown color and the adrenal cortex is a grayish-brown color.

Cortical-- Regarding the cortex, or the outer layer of the brain, as distinguished from the inner portion.
The outer layer of the brain is the cortex and would be referred to as a cortical structure.
cortical nephrons
Frontal? not sure XD

Cortical means pertaining to the cortex.Cortical
A cortical breakthrough means that the cortex, which is a hard outer covering, does not appear continuous. It could also indicate a semi-healed injury.

This refers to a reduction in the volume of the brain's cortex. The cortex is on the brain's surface and it is comprised of a thick nerve cell layer.

Cortical expansion is a radiological description which means thickening of the cortex of the bone being radiographed. It can also mean widening of the bone, with a cortex being seen. The cortex is the shell of the bone, versus the medulla which is the central spongy bone. The possible causes are numerous, and vary from trauma to infection to tumor etc.
