How does crime on the street could be stop?

There are so many ways that can happen but with so many people thinking they are better then others it makes it hard for it to happen. If there was a first time offender law stating that the first time you break the law as an adult as long as it isn't something real serious or major you are automaticly forgivin after paying your debt to socioty that would have a MAJORE cut down on crime. Usually when crimes are committed its from a person that has been arrested before. And usually they end up doing the crime because there isn't that much left for you in the world if your a convicted felon unless you fight for it! Most of the time if someone gets in trouble for the first time and its something serious like a second degree felony, theres no way around that at all and your stuck so in order not too starve they do what they have to witch is sad in a way. Lack of education on this subject also plays a role too because most people don't learn the pros and cons on getting arrested until its too late. I was arrested a few years back and convicted on a third degree larceny charge. I thought life was over and everyone kept telling me that unless i can rap or sing or act the only job id be able to get is fast food or construction making 30,000 a year if im lucky and i didnt take that for an answer at all! 5 years later im a certified master mechanic and a part time real estate agent making over 100,000 annually. If you take it like a lesson like i did and fight to get to where you want to be like i did then nothings limited. And there are a mess of people also going around making false statements stating that if your a felon you cant do this and you cant do that when in fact that's not the case! There are doctors, lawyers and even cops that where convicted felons at one point in life. So do NOT let anyone tell you that you cant do this and you cant do that cause of one mistake. Learning from your mistake creates the big line between a criminal and a person who just made a mistake. If someone would take the time and talk to most of these kids before they go out and do something stupid then that would help also. But like i said with so many people thinking once you go to jail your trash, a law like that would never be able to pass unless a president in office says so. I am now filing to get a goveners pardon and im sure i can get it because i know i am rehabilitated and i am also well known in my community now because im one of the very few success stories that take the time and talk to the youth about these things. Its a sad world we live in and until they start listening to the people the violence in the street will never stop.
